March 18 (SeeNews) - Russia plans to suspend all flights to Serbia aiming to limit the spread of the coronavirus infection, the Russian Embassy in Belgrade said.
"We strongly recommend that all Russian citizens who are currently on the territory of Serbia within the framework of a 30-day visa-free regime and who do not have a residence permit in Serbia take measures to return to the Russian Federation as soon as possible," the Russian Embassy said in a statement on Tuesday.
Earlier this week, Russian flag carrier Aeroflot suspended its flights linking Moscow to Serbia's Belgrade as part of efforts to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus disease.
