November 22 (SeeNews) - Romanian flag carrier Tarom said on Thursday it will introduce two new direct flights from the western city of Oradea - to Milan and Barcelona, starting March 2019.
Tarom will start to sell tickets for the new routes on December 15, it said in a statement.
The flights to both destinations will be each operated two times a week.
The main reason why effective flight operations start in March next year is because the company needs time to obtain slots for the two new routes.
In September, Tarom said it expects 2018 to be its best in the past four years from the financial point of view following a profitable summer season.
Tarom is currently operating on international and domestic routes with a fleet of 25 aircraft.
