May 16 (SeeNews) - Romanian self-adhesive labels manufacturer Sunimprof Rottaprint said on Wednesday it plans to open this year a logistics centre in Hamburg, its second in Germany and third one abroad.
The decision is based on expectations for 12% growth in exports this year, compared to 10% growth in 2017, the company said in a press release.
According to company data, exports contributed 24% of Sunimprof Rottaprint's total turnover in 2017, with deliveries to 14 countries in Europe, Asia and the U.S. Also last year, the number of foreign customers rose by 21%. Currently, some 15% of Rottaprint's 800 business customers are foreign.
In the January-March period, exports advanced by over 6%, the company said.
"One of our goals is to be the best both in Romania and in Europe. This is validated by our exports from year to year. More and more foreign customers are turning to our services, which is why we will continue to invest in technology and we will open our second logistics center in Germany, " Sunimprof Rottaprint general manager Cristi Nechita-Rotta said.
In April, the company said it expects a turnover of 21.7 million euro ($26.7 million) in 2018, up 10% over last year.
