September 14 (SeeNews) - Romanian fitness network Stay Fit Gym plans to invest over 650,000 euro ($767,933) in a new fitness centre, the company said on Tuesday.
The new gym will have a total area of 1,500 sq m and will be located in the Colosseum retail centre in Bucharest, Stay Fit said in a joint press release with Colosseum.
"With the opening of the eighth Stay Fit Gym location we are consolidating our position on the local fitness market. The accelerated growth of the residential segment in the area and the increased purchasing power made us choose this location," Stay Fit Gym managing partner Marius Preodisteanu said.
Located in Bucharest's District 1, Colosseum Mall is currently being expanded and will reach a total gross lettable area of 54,500 sq m.
"A significant percentage of our tenant mix is represented by strong local brands and this confirms the development potential on the retail segment. The pandemic context was a test for the retail market, but also a period of opportunities," Collosseum Mall leasing manager Doinita Ilie said.
Stay Fit Gym was founded in 2012 and currently has over 6,000 members.
