June 5 (SeeNews) - The Romanian city of Sibiu is inviting tenders for upgrade and refurbishment works of eight streets, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) said on Wednesday.
The streets have a total length of 4.41 km and are located in the Turnisor IV - Gusterita II area, the bank said in a press release.
Work will generally include the reconstruction of the roads and pavements as well as the installation of the associated utilities, water and drainage. The maximum time for completion of work for each lot is expected to be twelve months followed by a defect notification period of five years.
The invitation for tenders follows the general procurement notice for the project which was published in September 2018.
Tenders will be open on July 22, 2019.
The local authorities intend to use part of the proceeds of a loan from the EBRD towards the cost of Sibiu streets rehabilitation programme.
