March 28 (SeeNews) - Romanian investment platform for technology start-ups SeedBlink said on Monday it has opened an office in Bulgarian capital Sofia, its first outside Romania.
The new office, led by Bulgaria country manager Angel Hadjiev, will offer a range of investment instruments, tech startup opportunities and market access solutions to local investors, startups, and partners, SeedBlink said in an e-mailed statement.
The Sofia office will work with local angel groups, VCs, and private investors to assist their portfolio diversification, deal with both completion and syndicalisation needs, and support local startups in accessing capital and scale support.
"Bulgaria has a rapidly growing reputation as a technology hub in central Europe, with a growing tech ecosystem and visionary investors and startup scene. We are excited to bring our best startup investment know-how to Bulgaria and expand our offering of European tech investment opportunities," said Andrei Dudoiu, managing partner and co-founder at SeedBlink.
SeedBlink, launched in 2020, is a platform specialised exclusively in European tech start-ups, from the pre-seed stage to the B Series. It has attracted 10,000 investors from 50 countries so far.

Among the largest rounds of funding are Romania's FlowX with 1.6 million euro ($1.8 million) (round of 7.3 million euro), Bulgaria's Dronamics with 950,000 euro (round of 3 million euro), and self-listing SeedBlink with 1.1 million euro (round of 3 million euro), according to the statement.
