October 8 (SeeNews) - Romania's Safetech Innovations [BSE:SAFE] said it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with United Arab Emirates (UAE)-based company GreenGate Co. General Trading and Commercial Agencies to implement cybersecurity services and solutions to customers in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region,
Under the memorandum, Safetech will implement cybersecurity services and solutions to customers in the Middle East and North Africa, represented by the company, it said in a statement filed with the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB), on Thursday.
Moreover, Safetech agreed to initiate, manage, and build relationships with government agencies, ministries or companies in the United Arab Emirates together with GreenGate Co. General Trading and Commercial Agencies.
Safetech Innovations was established in 2011 and provides data protection services, identification of vulnerabilities and risks, implementation of cybersecurity solutions and measures and response to cybersecurity incidents.
In September, Safetech announced it has become a provider of cybersecurity services and solutions to U.S government agencies and contractors.
Safetech's shares traded 1.79% lower at 14.76 lei ($3.45/2.98 euro) as at 1006 CET on Friday on the BVB.
