April 6 (SeeNews) - Romania’s Safetch Innovations [BSE:SAFE], a cybersecurity company, said on Wednesday it has signed a partnership with US-based Fidelis Cybersecurity.
“It is becoming increasingly clear that cyber attacks are on an upward trend, including in Romania, and companies need services and solutions that shift them to proactive cyber defence to better protect them against these threats. Our team is specialised in the solutions provided by Fidelis Cybersecurity, and this alliance will significantly increase the company's turnover and help attract new clients," said Victor Gansac, CEO of Safetech Innovations, as quoted in a press release.
From a technical standpoint, the partnership integrates the Fidelis XDR (i.e. extended detection and response) platform with the workflow of Safetech analysts, thus helping combat cyberattacks in a timely manner, or even blocking attacks before any damage is dealt to target organisations.
Safetech Innovations was established in 2011. Its services include data protection, identification of vulnerabilities and risks, cybersecurity measure implementation, as well as a dedicated response centre for cybersecurity incidents.
In 2021, Safetech Innovations booked a net profit of 6.1 million lei ($1.349 million/1.23 million euro) on a turnover of 23 million lei, it said in a financial report published on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
Safetech Innovations shares traded up at 13.06 lei by 15:30 CET on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
