November 13 (SeeNews) - Romania's Rompetrol Well Services said on Tuesday its nine-month net profit more than doubled to some 15.15 million lei ($6.42 million/4.40 million euro) as revenue and turnover increased sharply.
Company officials were not immediately available to comment.
Rompetrol Well Services shares gained 2.80% on Tuesday to close at 1.47 lei on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB). The results were issued after the bourse closed.

Rompetrol Well Services performs special services on drilling wells. It supplies the tools and chemicals and also runs and sets the equipment needed for those interventions. Its main clients are Romania's largest oil group Petrom and state-owned gas company Romgaz.
