August 8 (SeeNews) - Romanian cement, aggregates and concrete producer Romcim has taken over local construction company Bauelemente Reinvest and its branch, Bauelemente, a legal advisor to Romcim said.
The acquisition adds three production facilities to Romcim's Romanian business, law firm Schoenherr Romania which advised Romcim on the FDI filing and obtaining merger clearance said in a press release on Monday.

The three facilities owned by Bauelemente are located one each in the counties of Giurgiu, Sibiu and Prahova. The value of the deal was not disclosed.
The transaction was cleared by Romania's competition authority.
Baulelemente is a Romanian manufacturer of concrete and prefabricated structures. It was part of the Baupartner Group, which includes companies active in construction, and design as well as the production of prefabricated concrete elements, renewable energy from biogas, and agriculture.
Part of Dublin-headquartered CRH Group of companies providing building materials solutions, Romcim owns and operates two cement factories - in Medgidia and Hoghiz, a grinding station in Targu-Jiu, as well as a network of cement terminals, quarries, gravel pits, aggregate depots, concrete and stations for production of precast concrete structures, according to the press release.
