November 4 (SeeNews) - Romanian plastics manufacturer Romcarbon [BSE:ROCE] said that it sold a plot of land in Iasi to local real estate operator Accord Building Estate for 432,257 euro ($420,803).
The sold land plot has a surface area of 2,732 sq m, Romcarbon said in a report filed with the Bucharest Stock Exchange on Thursday.
Accord Building Estate is a Romanian company established in 2022, which operates in the field of buying and selling real estate assets.
Romcarbon has 70 years of experience in the processing of polyethylene, polypropylene, PVC and polystyrene. It is one of the largest employers in the county of Buzau, employing approximately 800 at end-2021, according to data from the finance ministry's website. The company has branch offices in Bucharest, Iasi and Stefanesti.
Its shares traded flat at 0.4760 lei ($0.46/ 0.48 euro) by 1039 CET on Friday, data from the Bucharest Stock Exchange showed.
