November 17 (SeeNews) - Romanian construction materials holding ROCA Industry [BSE:ROC1], part of ROCA Group, said that its net profit reached 6.6 million lei ($1.4 million/1.3 million euro) in the first nine months of 2022.
The company's consolidated revenues got to 208.2 million lei during January-September, ROCA Industry said in a financial statement filed with the Bucharest Stock Exchange on Tuesday.
During the referenced period, the four companies included in the consolidation perimeter, excluding wire manufacturer Dial, acquired in September, recorded an EBITDA of 24.9 million lei.
"The development plans at the holding level remain focused on three pillars: carrying out M&A transactions, by penetrating as many sectors as possible in the field of construction materials, developing of the companies in the holding company through M&A transactions, by acquiring competitors, as well as operational and organisational development of the companies within ROCA Industry (...)," said the holding's President of the Board of Directors, Ioan-Adrian Bindea.
In October, ROCA Industry said it was going to buy 55% of Moldovan construction materials company Europlas.
ROCA Industry, part of ROCA Group, was established in December 2021 and is the holding company that brings together the construction materials companies in the ROCA Investments portfolio, currently including Sarcom, Bico, Terra, EED and Dial.
Its shares last traded at 8.34 lei as of 0922 CET on November 16 on the AeRO market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
