March 4 (SeeNews) - Romania's retail sales fell by 2.8% year-on-year in January 2021, after growing by 4.2% the month before, seasonally and working-day adjusted data from the country’s statistical office showed on Thursday.
On a monthly comparison basis, retail trade turnover fell by an adjusted 3.2% in January, after edging up by 0.2% in December, the data indicated.
On an unadjusted basis, retail sales were 1.7% higher on the year and 22.3% lower on the month in January.
