January 13 (SeeNews) - Romania's average net monthly wage rose by a real 5.1% year-on-year in November, after rising by 4.9% in October, the country's statistical office said on Wednesday.
On a monthly comparison basis, the real net wage was 1.9% higher in November, the National Institute of Statistics (INS) said in a monthly labour market report.
In nominal terms, the average net monthly wage increased by 7.3% on the year and rose 2% on the month in November, to 3,411 lei ($851/700 euro).
The highest net average wage of 8,273 lei was registered in IT-related activities, while the lowest, of 1,668 lei, was recorded in the hospitality sector.
