April 12 (SeeNews) - Romania's average net monthly wage rose by a real 1.9% year-on-year in February, after rising by 3.4% in January, the country's statistical office said on Monday.
On a monthly comparison basis, the real net wage was 1.3% lower in February, the National Institute of Statistics (INS) said in a monthly labour market report.
In nominal terms, the average net monthly wage rose 5.1% on the year and edged down 0.9 on the month in February, to 3,365 lei ($813/683 euro).
The highest net average wage of 8,047 lei was registered in computer programming, consultancy and related activities, while the lowest, of 1,747 lei, was recorded in the hospitality sector.
