August 12 (SeeNews) - Romania's average net monthly wage fell by a real 2.4% year-on-year in June, after decreasing by 1.7% in May, the country's statistical office said.
On a monthly comparison basis, the real net wage was 0.4% higher in June, the National Institute of Statistics (INS) said in a monthly labour market report on Thursday.
In nominal terms, the average net monthly wage rose 12.3% on the year and edged up 1.2% on the month in June, to 3,977 lei ($837/ 810 euro).
The highest net average wage of 9,331 lei in June was registered in computer programming, consultancy and related activities, while the lowest, of 2,186 lei, was recorded in the hospitality sector.
