August 7 (SeeNews) - Romania's average net monthly wage grew by a real 11.2% year-on-year in June, after gaining 10.2% in May, the country's statistical office said on Wednesday.
On a monthly comparison basis, the real net wage was 1.5% higher in June, the National Institute of Statistics (INS) said in a monthly labour market report.
In nominal terms, the average net monthly wage increased by 15.5% on the year and rose by 1.3% on the month in June, to 3,142 lei ($744/664 euro).
The highest net average wage of 8,245 lei was registered in the manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products, while the lowest, of 1,776 lei, was recorded in manufacture of wearing apparel.
