June 7 (SeeNews) - Romania's average net monthly wage grew by a real 10.3% year-on-year in April, after gaining 9.3% in March, the country's statistical office said on Friday.
On a monthly comparison basis, the real net wage was 0.7% higher in April, the National Institute of Statistics (INS) said in a monthly labour market report.
In nominal terms, the average net monthly wage increased by 14.8% on the year and rose by 1.3% on the month in April, to 3,115 lei ($741/660 euro).
The highest net average wage of 7,192 lei was registered in the IT sector, while the lowest, of 1,785 lei, was recorded in clothes manufacturing business.
