May 13 (SeeNews) - Romania's average net monthly wage grew by a real 9.3% year-on-year in March, after gaining 13.6% in February, the country's statistical office said on Monday.
On a monthly comparison basis, the real net wage was 4.3% higher in March, the National Institute of Statistics (INS) said in a monthly labour market report.
In nominal terms, the average net monthly wage increased by 13.7% on the year and rose by 4.8% on the month in March, to 3,075 lei ($726/646 euro).
The highest net average wage of 7,491 lei was registered in the IT sector, while the lowest, of 1,752 lei, was recorded in hotel and restaurant business.
