September 9 (SeeNews) - Romania's average net monthly wage grew by a real 10.6% year-on-year in July, after gaining 11.2% in June, the country's statistical office said on Monday.
On a monthly comparison basis, the real net wage was 0.5% lower in July, the National Institute of Statistics (INS) said in a monthly labour market report.
In nominal terms, the average net monthly wage increased by 15.2% on the year and fell by 0.7% on the month in July, to 3,119 lei ($727/659 euro).
The highest net average wage of 7,144 lei was registered in IT, while the lowest, of 1,823 lei, was recorded in manufacture of wearing apparel.
