December 11 (SeeNews) - Romania's average net monthly wage grew by a real 9.1% year-on-year in October, from 7.7% in September, the country's statistical office said on Tuesday.
On a monthly comparison basis, the real net wage was 0.7% higher in October, the National Institute of Statistics (INS) said in a monthly labour market report.
In nominal terms, the average net monthly wage increased by 13.7% on the year and rose by 1.2% on the month in October, to 2,720 lei ($667/585 euro).
The highest net average wage of 6,380 lei was registered in the IT sector, while the lowest, of 1,580 lei, was recorded in hotel and restaurant business.
