January 11 (SeeNews) - Romania's average net monthly wage grew by a real 9.5% year-on-year in November, from 9.1% in October, the country's statistical office said on Friday.
On a monthly comparison basis, the real net wage was 2.7% higher in November, the National Institute of Statistics (INS) said in a monthly labour market report.
In nominal terms, the average net monthly wage increased by 13.3% on the year and rose by 2.6% on the month in November, to 2,792 lei ($688/597 euro).
The highest net average wage of 6,835 lei was registered in the IT sector, while the lowest, of 1,589 lei, was recorded in hotel and restaurant business.
