November 7 (SeeNews) - Romania's average net monthly wage grew by a real 11.5% year-on-year in September, after increasing by an annual 12.6% in August, the country's statistical office said on Tuesday.
On a real monthly comparison basis, net wages were flat in September, following a 0.9% drop in August, the National Institute of Statistics (INS) said in a monthly labour market report.
In nominal terms, the average net monthly wage increased by 13.5% on the year and rose by 0.5% on the month in September, to 2,376 lei ($600/ 517 euro).
The highest net average wage of 6,022 lei was registered in IT-related activities, while the lowest, of 1,399 lei, was recorded in hotel and restaurant business.
