April 29 (SeeNews) - Romania issued 10,482 building permits for residential projects in January-March, up 2.7% year-on-year, the national statistical office, INS, said on Friday.
During March only, Romania issued 4,390 building permits, of which 69.7% were for projects located in rural areas, INS said in a monthly statement.
The regional distribution shows an increase in the number of construction permits released for residential buildings, compared to March 2021, in all geographical regions.
INS provided no figure for the value of the projects which were granted permits.
Romania issued 51,287 building permits for residential projects in 2021, up 24.1% year-on-year.
