BUCHAREST (Romania), April 19 (SeeNews) – New passenger car registrations in Romania rose 27.5% year-on-year to 22,276 during the first three months of 2017, provisional data from the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association, ACEA, indicated on Wednesday.
In March alone, new passenger car registrations in Romania climbed 5.2% to 6,915 units, ACEA said in a statement.

Romanian car maker Dacia's sales in the EU increased by 9.4% year-on-year, reaching 109,060 units in the period January-March of 2017. Dacia's market share remained flat on the year at 2.6% in the first three months of 2017.
New passenger car registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, increased by 8.4% year-on-year in January-March, reaching 4.14 million.
New passenger car registrations in Romania climbed 17% to 94,424 last year, exceeding the 2015 growth rate.
