April 27 (SeeNews) - Registrations of new commercial vehicles in Romania rose by an annual 2.9% to 5,014 in the first three months of 2022, the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association, ACEA, said on Wednesday.
Registrations of new light commercial vehicles of up to 3.5 tonnes rose 7.6% on the year to 3,098 in January-March, ACEA said in a statement citing provisional data.

Registrations of new heavy commercial vehicles of over 16 tonnes jumped by an annual 24.9% to 1,633 in the first three months of 2022.
New commercial vehicle registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, fell 18.1% on the year to 411,097 in the first quarter.
In 2021, registrations of new commercial vehicles in Romania rose by an annual 22% to 22,772.
