March 3 (SeeNews) - Romanian concrete products manufacturer Prebet Aiud [BSE:PREB] said that its net profit edged down to 4.15 million lei ($895,381/843,273 euro) in 2022 from 4.2 million lei in the previous year.
The company’s net turnover increased to 44.9 million lei last year, from 36.8 million lei in 2021, Prebet Aiud said in a preliminary annual financial statement filed with the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BVB, earlier this week.
Prebet’s operating revenue grew to 43.4 million lei in 2022 from 41.4 million lei in 2021, while its operating expenses edged up to 38.4 million lei from 36.5 million lei.
Total assets amounted to 67.9 million lei at the end of 2022, up from 59.5 million lei a year earlier. Total long-term liabilities rose by 21.2% to 650,299 lei in 2022, while short-term liabilities jumped by 65.5% to 13.1 million lei.
On March 1, Prebet concluded a 1.05 million euro ($1.1 million) contract for the construction of pre-stressed beam production facilities, it said in a separate filing with the BVB on Thursday.
Prebet Aiud shares traded 2.22% higher at 1.84 lei by 1359 CET on Friday on the Bucharest bourse.
