January 25 (SeeNews) - Romania's Rompetrol Rafinare [BSE:RRC] said that its Petromidia Navodari refinery will undergo a scheduled turnaround for 10 days.
The refinery will reduce its production capacity in order to carry out works to change and regenerate catalysts, decoking and other specific maintenance operations, Rompetrol said in a report filed with the Bucharest Stock Exchange on Monday.
During the works, the company will continue providing fuel to the Romanian market, processing at optimal production capacity approximately 15,000 tonnes of raw materials per day, the company added.
In the first nine months of 2022, the Petromidia refinery processed more than 3.8 million tonnes of raw materials, achieving a production of approximately 1 million tonnes of gasoline and 1.97 million tonnes of diesel and Jet A1 fuels.
Rompetrol Rafinare is the core asset of Dutch-based KMG International, formerly The Rompetrol Group, which is fully owned by Kazakhstan's state-owned energy company KazMunayGaz Group. Through its two oil refineries, Rompetrol Rafinare provides over 40% of Romania's refining capacity.
The main shareholders of Rompetrol Rafinare are KMG International with 48.11% and the Romanian State through the energy ministry with 44.69%, data from the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BVB, showed.
Its shares traded flat at 0.08 lei ($0.02/0.02 euro) as of 0900 CET on Wednesday, bourse data showed.
