April 26 (SeeNews) - Romania-based Optim Project Management said on Monday that it has won a contract to manage the project for the construction of a new Continental electronics assembly and manufacturing facility in Novi Sad, Serbia.
"Our appointment to deliver this important facility to Continental demonstrates our continued growth in Serbia and is a testament to the success of previous projects we have undertaken with Continental Automotive in Romania," Optim Project Management founder and owner David Evans said in a press release.
The production plant will have a gross building area (GBA) of 29,500 sq m and will be built on a 30-hectare plot of land.
The electronics assembly and manufacturing facility is currently in the design phase. The construction is planned to be completed in 2023, the company added.
Optim Project Management was incorporated in Romania in 2009 and is specialized in construction project management, design and engineering.
In March, the company opened a branch in Belgrade in order to further expand its services on the real estate market of Southeast Europe. Since 2017, Optim is also present in Sofia, Bulgaria.
