December 2 (SeeNews) - Romania's industrial producer prices index (PPI) grew by 32.4% year-on-year in October, the biggest increase on an annual comparison basis among all EU member states in Southeast Europe (SEE) and the fourth-highest in the bloc, the EU statistical office said on Thursday.
Romania also reported the highest monthly PPI rise in the region in October, by 8.6%, Eurostat said in a statement.
Elsewhere in SEE, Slovenia's annual PPI increase of 9.4% in October was the second-lowest in the EU.
