November 26 (SeeNews) - Romania's M3, the broadest gauge of the country's money supply, grew by a nominal 9.8% year-on-year to 404.4 billion lei ($93 billion/85 billion euro) in October, compared to a 9.3% increase in September, the central bank, BNR, said on Tuesday.
On a monthly comparison basis, Romania's M3 money supply rose 1% in October, BNR said in a statement.
In real terms, October M3 was 6.2% higher on the year and was 0.6% higher on the month.
Romania's M1 rose 15.5% on the year to 257.2 billion lei last month, compared to 15.4% in September.
Net foreign assets jumped 11.5% in October, reaching 186.7 billion lei, while net domestic assets rose by 8.4% to 217.6 billion lei.
