December 28 (SeeNews) - Romania's M3, the broadest gauge of the country's money supply, grew by a nominal 10.9% year-on-year to 376 billion lei ($92.3 billion/80.9 billion euro) in November, compared to a 9.4% increase in October, the central bank, BNR, said on Friday.
On a monthly comparison basis, Romania's M3 money supply rose by 2.2% in November, BNR said in a statement.
In real terms, November M3 was 7.2% higher on the year and was 2.3 higher on the month.
Romania's M1 rose 13.2% on the year to 229.7 billion lei last month, compared to 10.2% in October.
Net foreign assets rose by 4.8% in November, reaching 165.5 billion lei, while net domestic assets jumped by 16.2% to 210.7 billion lei.
