May 24 (SeeNews) - Romania's M3, the broadest gauge of the country's money supply, grew by a nominal 9.9% year-on-year to 390 billion lei ($91 billion/82 billion euro) in April, compared to a 9.0% increase in March, the central bank, BNR, said on Friday.
On a monthly comparison basis, Romania's M3 money supply rose by 1.8% in April, BNR said in a statement.
In real terms, April M3 was 5.5% higher on the year and was 1.2% higher on the month.
Romania's M1 rose 14.4% on the year to 241.7 billion lei last month, compared to 12.3% in March.
Net foreign assets rose by 13.8% in March, reaching 182 billion lei, while net domestic assets jumped by 6.6% to 208 billion lei.
