July 25 (SeeNews) - Romania's M3, the broadest gauge of the country's money supply, increased by a nominal 9% year-on-year in June, reaching 321.75 billion lei ($82.1 billion/70.4 billion euro), compared to a 10.5% rise in May, the central bank, BNR, said on Tuesday.
On a monthly comparison basis, Romania's M3 money supply edged up 0.1% in June, BNR said in a statement.
In real terms, June M3 money supply was 8.1% higher on the year and 0.1% higher on the month.
Romania's M1 rose 19.2% on the year to 190.3 billion lei last month, after posting annual growth of 20.9% in May.
Net foreign assets grew by an annual 18.8% in June, reaching 149.5 billion lei, while net domestic assets rose 1.8% to 172.2 billion lei.
