November 25 (SeeNews) - Romania's M3, the broadest gauge of the country's money supply, grew by a nominal 15.7% year-on-year to 543 billion lei ($123 billion/110 billion euro) in October, compared to a 16.2% increase in September, the central bank, BNR, said.
On a monthly comparison basis, Romania's M3 money supply rose 1.3% in October, BNR said in a statement on Wednesday.
In real terms, October M3 was 7.2% higher on the year and edged down 0.5% on the month.
Romania's M1 rose 21.1% on the year to 388.7 billion lei last month, compared to a 21.5% growth in September.
Net foreign assets rose by an annual 11.2% in October, reaching 243.2 billion lei, while net domestic assets rose by 19.6% to 300 billion lei.
