December 27 (SeeNews) - Romania's M3, the broadest gauge of the country's money supply, grew by a nominal 12.5% year-on-year to 339.8 billion lei ($86.7 billion/73.2 billion euro) in November, compared to a 13.6% rise in October, the central bank, BNR, said on Wednesday.
On a monthly comparison basis, Romania's M3 money supply increased by 0.8% in November, BNR said in a statement.
In real terms, November M3 money supply was 9% higher on the year and up by 0.2% on the month.
Romania's M1 rose 18.7% on the year to 202.9 billion lei last month, after growing by an annual 21.3% in October.
Net foreign assets increased by an annual 7.4% in November, reaching 155.5 billion lei, while net domestic assets rose 17.2% to 186.2 billion lei.
