December 18 (SeeNews) - Romanian strip mall developer La Strada Street Mall Concept said on Tuesday it has inaugurated La Strada Street Mall Concept Brasov following a 5 million euro ($5.67 million) investment.
La Strada Street Mall Brașov will serve the inhabitants of Avantgarden 3 residential complex located in Brasov's Bartolomeu district and those living in the surrounding areas, the company said in a press release.
The new commercial project from Brasov includes a mix of varied tenants, namely stores, restaurants and a wide range of proximity services.
"The construction stages of La Strada Street Mall Concept Brasov went very well and met our expectations. We are very happy with the mix of tenants we succeeded to add to this very exciting new commercial concept from Brasov. We aim to continue our development business strategy based on proximity retail and to focus on the current projects we have under development," La Strada representatives said.
Developed on an area of 5,000 sq m, La Strada Street Mall Concept Brasov comprises 2000 sq m of commercial space.
The next three strip mall projects developed by La Strada Street Mall Concept are scheduled to be launched in 2019 and at the beginning of 2020. Two of them are located in Militari Residence, a high-density residential area of Bucharest and the third one in Bragadiru, near the Romanian capital.
The first project of the developer was inaugurated at the end of 2016 in Popesti Leordeni, a suburb of Bucharest with more than 38,000 inhabitants. The occupancy rate in Popesti Leordeni is now 100%.
La Strada Street Mall represents a new concept of retail, including commercial centres of small dimensions developed close to the new residential districts with high density of inhabitants
Currently, La Strada Street Mall Concept includes La Strada Street Mall Concept Popesti Leordeni, La Strada Street Mall Concept Militari and La Strada Street Mall Concept Brasov.
