February 1 (SeeNews) - Romanian tech company Kubeark said on Wednesday that it has raised $2.8 million (2.57 million euro) in a pre-seed funding round to develop software as a service (SaaS) products and enable cloud adoption.
The investment round was led by Czech venture capital firm Credo Ventures, Kubeark said in a press release.
Other investors which took part in the round were London-based venture capital fund Seedcamp, Sofia-based venture fund LAUNCHub Ventures, U.S.-based venture firm 500 Emerging Europe, and others.
"Our platform ushers in a new era in which software products are delivered as true SaaS products, helping vendors speed time-to-value, hyper-scale their distribution, and SaaSify any piece of software instantly" said Bogdan Nedelcov, CEO and co-founder of Kubeark.
Kubeark is an IT platform built to scale any software product, which integrates deployment and management into business processes. The company is headquartered in the U.S. and has offices in Romania's capital Bucharest, employing a total of 20 people.
