October 23 (SeeNews) - Registrations of new commercial vehicles in Romania plummeted by an annual 35.5% to 13,247 in the first nine months of 2020, the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association, ACEA, said on Friday.
Registrations of new light commercial vehicles of up to 3.5 tonnes fell 29.6% on the year to 9,674 in January-September, ACEA said in a statement citing provisional data.

Registrations of new heavy commercial vehicles of over 16 tonnes plummeted 43.4% to 2,792 in the first nine months of 2020.
New commercial vehicle registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, fell 24.5% to 1.206 million in January-September.
In 2019, the registrations of new commercial vehicles in Romania decreased by an annual 1.7% to 25,372.
