December 5 (SeeNews) - The number of tourists staying in Romania in the first ten months of 2017 rose 10.6% on the year to 10.44 million, the country's statistical board, INS, said on Tuesday.
Tourists spent 23.55 million overnights in Romania in January-October, up 6.1% year-on-year, INS said in a statement.
In October alone, the number of tourists staying in Romania grew 8.7% on the year to 957,300, while overnights increased 6.8% to 2.07 million.
