January 6 (SeeNews) - The number of tourists staying in Romania in the first eleven months of 2019 rose by 3.7% on the year to more than 12.43 million, the country's statistical board, INS, said on Monday.
Tourists spent 28.1 million overnights in Romania in the January-November period, up 5.1% compared to the prior-year period, INS said.
In November alone, the number of tourists staying in Romania decreased 1.6% on the year to 902,800 million, while overnights fell by 1.8% to some 1.92 million.
