BUCHAREST (Romania), July 4 (SeeNews) -Romania's retail sales grew by an annual 7.1% on the year in the first five months of 2019, seasonally and working-day adjusted data from the country’s statistical office showed on Thursday.
According to unadjusted data, retail trade turnover rose by 7.2% on the year during January-May, INS said.
Seasonally and working-day adjusted data indicate May retail trade turnover grew by 3.7% on the year, but fell 0.8% month-on month.
May retail trade turnover grew by an unadjusted 3.9% on the year and by 0.7% on the month, the data also indicated.
