BUCHAREST (Romania), April 17 (SeeNews) – New passenger car registrations in Romania increased 25.1% to 35,836 during the first three months of 2019, provisional data from the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association, ACEA, indicated on Wednesday.
In March alone, new passenger cars registrations in Romania rose by 20.8% to 9,813 units, ACEA said in a statement.

Romanian car maker Dacia's sales in the EU increased by 13% year-on-year, reaching 143,466 units in January-March. Dacia's market share increased to 3.6% in the first three months of the year compared to 3% in the same period of 2018.
New passenger car registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, decreased by an annual 3.3% in January-March, reaching 4.03 million.
New passenger car registrations in Romania rose 23.1% year-on-year to 130,919 in 2018.
