The number of tourists staying in Romania jumped 54.6% on the year to 4.7 million in the first seven months of 2021, the statistics board, INS, said on Thursday.
Tourists spent 10.242 million overnights in Romania in January-July, up 53% year-on-year, INS said in a statement.
In July alone, the number of tourists staying in Romania surged to 1.43 million, while overnights jumped 51.3% on the year, to 3.685 million.
