BUCHAREST (Romania), March 15 (SeeNews) – New passenger car registrations in Romania increased 26.8% to 26,023 during the first two months of 2019, provisional data from the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association, ACEA, indicated on Friday.
Romanian car maker Dacia's sales in the EU increased by 7.6% year-on-year, reaching 84,923 units in January-February, ACEA said in a statement. Dacia's market share increased to 3.7% in the first two months of the year compared to 3.3% in the same period of 2018.

New passenger car registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, decreased by an annual 2.9% in January-February, reaching 2.31 million.
New passenger car registrations in Romania rose 23.1% year-on-year to 130,919 in 2018.
