BUCHAREST (Romania), March 25 (SeeNews) - Registrations of new commercial vehicles in Romania fell by an annual 31.4% to 3,264 in the first two months of 2020, the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association, ACEA, said on Wednesday.
Registrations of new light commercial vehicles of up to 3.5 tonnes fell 19.5% on the year to 2,367 in January-February, ACEA said in a statement citing provisional data.
Registrations of new heavy commercial vehicles of over 16 tonnes plummeted 41.1% to 751 in the first two months of 2020.
New commercial vehicle registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, fell 8.9% to 308,350 in January-February.
In 2019, the registrations of new commercial vehicles in Romania decreased by an annual 1.7% to 25,372.
