May 31 (SeeNews) - The number of building permits for residential projects issued in Romania in the first four months of 2023 fell 26% year-on-year, to 10,673, the national statistical office, INS, said on Wednesday.
In April alone, Romania issued 2,677 building permits, of which 70% were for projects located in rural areas, INS said in a monthly report.
INS provided no figure for the value of the projects which were granted permits.
Romania issued 43,660 building permits for residential projects in 2022, down 15% year-on-year.
