BUCHAREST (Romania), May 17 (SeeNews) – New passenger car registrations in Romania rose 25.4% year-on-year to 36,272 during the first four months of 2018, provisional data from the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association, ACEA, indicated on Thursday.
In April alone, new passenger car registrations in Romania rose 14.9% to 7,629 units, ACEA said in a statement.

Romanian car maker Dacia's sales in the EU increased by 18.5% year-on-year, reaching 172,787 units in the period January-April. Dacia's market share increased to 3.5% in the first four months of the year compared to 3.1% in the same period of 2017.
New passenger car registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, increased by 2.7% year-on-year in January-April, reaching 5.47 million.
New passenger car registrations in Romania climbed 10.7% on the year to 105,083 in 2017.
