May 25 (SeeNews) - Registrations of new commercial vehicles in Romania rose by an annual 8.5% on the year to 8,322 in the first four months of 2018, the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA) said on Friday.
Registrations of new light commercial vehicles of up to 3.5 tonnes rose 14.5% on the year to 5,781 in January-April, ACEA said in a statement citing provisional data.

Registrations of new heavy commercial vehicles of over 16 tonnes dropped by an annual 1.3% to 2.163 in the first four months of 2018.
New commercial vehicle registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, rose by 4.3% to 822,481 in the first four months of the year.
In 2017, the registrations of new commercial vehicles in Romania fell by an annual 1.2% to 22,789.
