April 26 (SeeNews) - Romanian real estate developer Iulius said that it invested 120 million euro ($132.6 million) in developing Palas Campus Iasi, an office building which the company claims is the largest in Romania.
The building is located in the northeastern city of Iasi and has a total leasable area of 60,000 sq m, Iulius said in a press release on Tuesday.
Palas Campus is now integrated into a business hub which also includes one of the company's previous developments, Palas Iasi. The hub comprises eight buildings and a total leasable area of 130,000 sq m of office spaces.
More than 5,000 people are expected to work within Palas Campus.
In 2021, the building obtained a 72 million euro loan from the International Finance Corporation to install photovoltaic panels.
Iulius is a Romanian developer whose portfolio includes more than 310,000 sq m of retail premises in two mixed-use projects in Iasi and Timisoara and some 242,000 sq m of office spaces, spread across 15 buildings.
